Our standards
How we choose our brands
Better fashion should be easier to find and afford. Our selection policy focuses on materials, quality, price, inclusivity and honest information.
- 70%+ recycled or upcycled material in every product
- 30+ washes without major wear, with testing records
- $5–$50 retail prices, with XS–3XL sizing or a plan to get there
- Proof required for every sustainability claim we share
Materials with a second life
Each product must contain at least 70% recycled or upcycled material. Up to 30% may be approved low-impact fabrics. We do not allow virgin synthetic fibers. Recycled synthetics must come from existing materials and serve a purpose, such as stretch or durability.
There's an exception for garments or textiles that are substantially remade, rather than simply resold: they may keep their existing synthetic fibers, with no separate percentage limit, if no new synthetic fibers are produced for the item.
Quality, price and fit
Our standard is 30 or more washes without major deterioration when care instructions are followed. We ask for written testing records with photos, measurements and washing conditions, and review fabric, stitching, closures and fit. Existing wear or flaws must be disclosed.
Partnerships must support $5–$50 retail prices. Brands must offer XS–3XL or a clear plan to expand within 6–12 months, so not every brand will carry every size immediately. Size charts or garment measurements are required, including measurements for one-of-a-kind pieces.
Honest stories and inclusive brands
We ask where materials come from, where products are made, who makes them, and how brands reduce waste. Sustainability claims need evidence. Certifications are welcomed, but optional.
We expect inclusive language and imagery showing different bodies, ethnicities and gender expressions; unisex styles and community projects are encouraged.
Packaging and product information
Customer packaging must be new, clean, protective and presentable, with supplier designs approved by NoTitle. New packaging made from recycled material is welcome; previously used boxes or mailers are only allowed for supplier shipments to us. Our policy favors paper and easily recyclable packaging, limits plastic to easily degradable or compostable options, and requires evidence for packaging claims and relevant disposal instructions.
Before listing each new product, we review photos, materials, care instructions, measurements, pricing, availability, flaws and testing records. We keep the original brand and required garment labels intact. NoTitle hangtags identify us as the retailer; sewn-in partner labels need the brand's written approval.
